Matcha Green Tea Powder is a vibrant, finely ground tea made from carefully cultivated green tea leaves, prized for its vivid green colour, rich flavour, and remarkable health benefits. Matcha is made from tencha, a specially grown green tea leaf shaded for three to four weeks before harvest. This slows growth, increases chlorophyll, and enhances amino acids, creating its signature umami taste and smooth texture. After steaming to preserve nutrients, the leaves are dried, de-stemmed, de-veined, and stone-ground into a fine powder.

How to Prepare Matcha Green Tea Powder

3. Using a whisk, mix briskly in a zigzag motion until a smooth, frothy layer forms on the surface.
4. Add additional hot water to your preferred strength and enjoy the vibrant, aromatic cup of matcha.
